What's included in my Umba Box?
That's the fun part! You won't know until you order one. Umba Box is a highly curated handmade subscription service. We're constantly searching for fresh, new faces in the handmade design community. Currently, subscriptions will include handmade products aimed at women that are fresh & modern with an occasional vintage feel. We source products that you would be proud to wear and use.
When will I receive my delivery?
Umba Boxes are shipped out around 1st week of each month by USPS. In order to receive a delivery for the month, be sure to subscribe by the 10th day of the previous month.
I'm buying this as a gift, can I include a message to the recipient?
Of course. Because Umba Boxes are so popular as gifts, we want to help make it as personalized as possible. During check out, please make sure that you enter the recipients address as the shipping address. We'd be happy to send a hand-written note with the first shipment. Please email gifts@umbabox.com with the recipient's name and shipping address with your message. We will also email you back with a certificate that you can wrap and present to the lucky Umba Box recipient!
If I'm buying this as a gift for the holiday season, when should I purchase the subscription?
Subscriptions that are purchased between the dates of November 11 and December 10 will start in January. This might be the best option for your needs. If you purchase a subscription to be used as a gift after December 11, don't worry, this will still make a fantastic gift; their first shipment will go out in February. We can still provide you with a certificate to give to the recipient.
Do you ship internationally?
Not at this time, but we're planning on expanding soon!
What if I don't like one of the products that I receive?
We work hard to find and ship products that we think you'll not only like, but that you'll love. If for some reason you don't love what you get, you can ship the product back to us (unfortunately, we aren't able to pay for return shipping). We aren't able to offer you a refund for that month, but we will happily extend your subscription by one month at no additional cost to you.
Do have boxes aimed at men or children?
Right now we're just focusing our efforts on handmade women's products, but we're working on expanding our offerings as we grow. Stay tuned for more options!
